"We are going to sign a contract with agents within a day or two and we hope for a positive result," Salahuddin said after the meeting.

Argentina will play an exhibition match against Nigeria in Kolkata on September 2, and that is why, BFF decided to invite them in Bangladesh.

"We have planned this to get back our pride of football. It will inspire newbies to play football," he added.

He expects both teams to reach Dhaka on September 3, if all goes well.

In the agreement, BFF will try to confirm Lionel Messi, Carlos Tevez and Angel di Maria in the Argentine squad, say BFF high officials.
